Jeff Koons' Popeye Show Sails Down Memory Lane

Jeff Koons is one of the best selling artists alive today, and his new Popeye collection has been highly anticipated since he started creating them in 2002.

"Popeye the Sailor is a fictional hero famous for appearing in comic strips and animated films as well as numerous television shows," Wikipedia says. He was created by Elzie Crisler Segar, and first appeared in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre on January 17, 1929."
