Toronto's Chotto Matte Introduces Steak and Sushi Sundays

Toronto's Japanese-Peruvian culinary hotspot, Chotto Matte, is excited to unveil Steak and Sushi Sundays, a unique dining experience starting April 16th. This new offering highlights the restaurant's sushi counter and robata grill, emphasizing the flavorful contrast between land and sea.

Available exclusively on Sundays, Global Executive Head Chef Jordan Sclare has designed a special menu showcasing the artistry of grilling steaks and crafting sushi rolls. For a set price of $80 CAD, guests can indulge in a selection of Chotto Matte's signature sushi rolls and wagyu steak throughout the day.

The menu features a carefully chosen olive-fed wagyu alcatra, accompanied by red anticucho butter, green bean tempura, and Chotto Matte's renowned smoked purple potato mash, adding a bold Nikkei twist. Alongside the premium wagyu, guests can enjoy Chotto Matte favorites like salmon nigiri shiso and marinated ikura, served in generous portions.

Kurt Zdesar, Founder of Chotto Matte, says, "As a restaurant that celebrates the marriage of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, I am excited to introduce our new Sunday Wagyu Steak & Sushi Menu." He adds that the menu aims to reflect the vibrant energy and communal spirit of the restaurant while offering a special experience for guests to enjoy on Sundays, a day for gathering with family and friends.
