The 'It's Not Warming, It's Dying' Campaign Raises Awareness

Acclaimed American graphic designer Milton Glaser -- who designed the iconic 'I Heart NY' logo that adorns many a t-shirt and coffee mug -- has launched 'It's Not Warming, It's Dying', a campaign that aims to expand awareness of climate warming and instill a sense of urgency in tackling the problem.

The campaign aims to drive home the point that there is "no more significant issue on earth than its survival" and asks the key question, "how can anyone not be involved?".

To promote "It's Not Warming, It's Dying", Glaser came up with an extremely simple visual that shows the planet as seen from space. The green portion suggests the current life of the planet, while the dark area reflects lost life.

Badges of the visual are available on the campaign's website for $5, with proceeds from the sale going towards producing and distributing more buttons to spread awareness.
