Self-Healing Phone Cases (Update)

These iPhone Screen Protectors Repair Themselves in One Second

Innerexile's newest iPhone screen protectors fix a scratch almost immediately, meaning both the exterior and the smartphone beneath will always look brand new. The screen protectors are made up of microcapsules that contain an "adhesive-like liquid." When the front sustains an injury, the liquid fills in the space that was scratched or nicked, making it disappear right away.

The coating is also oil and water repellent, lending to less fingerprints being left on the screen. The iPhone screen protectors are only 0.2 mm thick and conveniently still allow for 3D Touch.

Innerexile's previous 'Hydra' case could fix scratches in 30 seconds, however it had to be the right temperature. This adapted technology works much faster and will also be available in a case version in mid-November.
