Noninvasive Compact Apartments

Estúdio Ela Arquitetura Designs This Interior with Neutral Colors

In a design-forward collaboration between Estúdio Ela Arquitetura’s Juliana Matalon and Carol Dantas, a small 35 square meter apartment boasts an interior with neutral color scheme. The living space is arranged for a young couple that wanted to have a "beautiful yet functional space."

When it comes to ultra-compact living quarters, less is more. Thus, Juliana Matalon and Carol Dantas focus on smart storage systems and chic interior decor. The palette is the perfect start as it does not overbear with excessively vibrant colors and patterns but rather eases the eye with agreeable and less demanding materials.

In order to make the most use of the space, the designers did not stop at the interior with neutral colors. They also decided to create some separation between rooms via glass elements.
