Intel Metro (Update)

New Details on the World's Thinnest Laptop

Trend Hunter first introduced you to Intel's Metro PC in April, but a new video has been released this week. Check out the clip, which reveals more details about this ultra thin PC.

For background, the Intel Metro was inspired by the RAZR to be the world's thinnest laptop. It's also a fashion accessory.

Last week, Business Week wrote a story about the Intel Metro, noting, "The result, code-named Intel mobile Metro notebook, is less than 0.7 inches thickâ€"about one-quarter of an inch thicker than Motorola's (MOT) iconic cell phone, making it the world's thinnest notebook. And at 2.25 pounds, it's also one of the lightest small-sized portable computers. Other features include always-on Internet connectivity via various wireless technologies."

Unlike most high end concepts, Intel is actually producing the Metro, although a release date has not yet been announced.
