360-Degree Action Cameras

The Insta360 X3 has a Large Built-In Touchscreen for Navigation

Insta360 will unveil the full details of its upcoming Insta360 X3 action camera during a release event on September 8th, 2022. However, even pulling from the initial unveiling of the camera, there are a number of notable upgrades over the previous iterations. Firstly, the X3 boasts a built-in 2.29--inch rectangular touchscreen, as opposed to the small circular display on the X2.

The X3 will still shoot in up to 5.7k resolution, with various modes available for 1440p, 4k, 1080p, and even 8k at different framerates. The remaining details will be confirmed at Insta360's event. The MSRP for the Insta360 X3 is €539.99, or approximately $540 USD.

With the release of the Insta360 X3, the company is solidifying itself as a high-quality manufacturer of on-the-go action cameras that do not compromise in any area, while still maintaining that small form factor. Essentially, Insta360 sets itself apart from companies such as GoPro by offering compact, durable products that rival full-size cameras.
