When size is all that matters, it’s nice to know that there’s a desktop PC solution so tiny that it can easily mount behind a monitor for a clean desktop.
At 7.5 inches wide and barely over an inch thick, the new ChromeBox from Samsung packs a surprising amount of power in such a tiny package. Running Google’s popular Chrome operating system, the ChromeBox also features 4 GB of RAM, an Intel Celeron processor, four USB ports and both wired and wireless internet options.
That doesn’t mean that this little dynamo is for everyone. The storage space is only 16 GB, and the box is not capable to running any Windows or Mac operating systems. Even so, for casual PC users who only want a system to surf the web, watch YouTube clips and check up on emails, the ChromeBox could prove to be everything you need in an incredibly compact package.
