The 'If Convertible' Combines a Laptop, Smartphone and Tablet into One

The 'If Convertible' is easily one of the most ambitious laptops/tablets/smartphones. Ideal Future's concept device is essentially a laptop with two independent screens, with one that can be rotated and detached. The idea behind the If Convertible is that your laptop and smartphone/tablet (phablet) shouldn't be standalone devices.

The If Convertible's main draw is the ability to detach its second screen and use it as a smartphone/tablet. When combined, the two screens stand 7 inches and are 12 inches wide. The base (laptop) will be powered by either Ubuntu or Windows and the smartphone/tablet will be powered by Android. Ideal Future is currently seeking $100,000 of funding on Indiegogo, but it promises to fulfill all orders by July 2014 even if its goal isn't hit.
