Fashion company Stone Island is redefining the classic knit sweater by infusing it with technology, the end result is the 'Ice Knit' -- a thermal-sensitive sweater that changes color in the cold.
The pure wool on the inside of this garment will keep the wearer warm, while the outer layer, made of thermo-sensitive yarn, will provide an aesthetically pleasing experience as it slowly changes color when it's exposed to the cold. Available in "yellow-to-orange, emerald-to-military-green and ivory-to-anthracite" the compelling and stylish winter staple is sure to turn some heads this season.
Although the technology-infusion is largely for aesthetic purposes, the Ice Knit serves as a strong example of the powerful relationship between fashion and technology.
