The Horn iPod Dock Borrows Elements from Traditional Korean Clothes

For stylish speakers with a traditional Asian twist, check out the Horn iPod Dock designed by Shi-hyung Jeon.

Despite its name, the Horn iPod Dock isn't really modeled after a horn. Instead, designer Shi-hyung Jeon modeled the look after traditional Korean garments. The speakers "reinterprets the line of the sleeve of the traditional "Han-bok" and "Beo-seon" Korean clothes in a contemporary style" according to Hi-Macs. The design's curvy aesthetic actually helps provide clearer and fuller sounds by allowing minimal sound distractions.

Shi-hyung Jeon does a great job of forging modern items with a traditional twist. It's one of the few products in which style and functionality go hand-in-hand.
