Blackmagic Design Launches a New ATEM Television Studio HD8

Digital cinema and hardware manufacturer company Blackmagic Design has announced the new high-end ATEM Television Studio HD8, an all-in-one live production switcher with highly portable broadcast features. It features broadcast-grade control panels with advanced capabilities like streaming and recording. There is also an ISO model that can record all video inputs and able to connect up to eight remote cameras.

It consists of a switcher with eight standards-converted SDI inputs, two aux outputs, four chroma keyers, two downstream keyers, SuperSource, two media players, and more. The standout feature is the range of professional built-in video effects. The t-bar fader is used to transition video effects or it can be done automatically through the auto button. Additionally, the built-in media pool has broadcast-quality graphics and animations. The media pool can also hold 20 HD resolution stills. As for animation graphic clips, it holds up to 400 frames in 720HD and 200 frames in 1080HD. Other features include a 16-way multiview for monitoring all cameras on one monitor. This broadcast control panel is available for $2,995.
