Hero Benelux Unveils the Sustainable 'Cassis' Carton Packaging

Dutch soft drinks brand Hero Benelux is launching the 'Cassis' blackcurrant juices in a new carton packaging. To do this, it has chosen SIG packs, specifically the SIG 'MagnumBloc 1,500mL' aseptic carton packs featuring SIG Terra Forest-based polymers as the packaging material. This move aligns with Hero's ongoing sustainability strategy, which hopes to benefit consumers who desire access to 'Cassis' juices in environmentally friendly packaging.

The SIG carton packs boast a significantly reduced carbon footprint, up to 51% less than traditional SIG packaging. Moreover, these fully recyclable carton packs offer an easy disposal process.

"[...] Launching our first Cassis juices in SIG carton packs, with SIG Terra Forest-based polymers packaging material, also means our consumers can now continue to enjoy the great taste and quality of our Cassis juices but in a more sustainable packaging option," said Kim Luu, brand manager drinks at Hero Benelux.
