GoPro Has Announced the Launch the 'Hero 10 Black Bones' For Drone Use

GoPro has announced the launch of the Hero 10 Black Bones, a new and more lightweight version of the Hero 10 Black purpose-built for the popular CineWhoop and FPV drones.

The new drone-ready action camera features high-end elements such as HyperSmooth 4.0 and 5.3K video while still being light enough to be mounted on larger drones. The Hero 10 Black Bones weighs in at just 54 grams, which is 100 grams less than the original Hero 10 Black.

"Bones is an important step in our strategy to leverage GoPro’s core camera-technology to produce derivative products that address the needs of a specific audience of customers," said GoPro founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman. "Bones delivers Hero 10 Black image quality and performance in a lightweight body that is ideal for aerial cinematography."
