HelloFresh is Working with Terrapass to Reduce Environmental Impact

HelloFresh is partnering with Terrapass to offset 100% of its carbon emissions, including carbon dioxide emissions generated from operations, outbound shipping and corporate travel.

Before offsetting, HelloFresh reports that its carbon foortprint is already 25% less than meals made from storebought groceries, as it leverages a streamlined supply chain and an efficient distribution strategy. At a time when people are staying at home and ordering more meal kits to simplify the process of planning and shopping for meals, HelloFresh is committing to carbon-balancing initiatives to minimize its environmental impact and combat climate change.

As a result of carbon offsetting to balance its carbon emissions, HelloFresh expects to offset at least 50,000 metric tons of carbon and 24,000 megawatt-hours of electricity.
