Designed by Milos Todorovic, the Helios Lamp brings new meaning to floor light fixtures. More sculptural than anything, it would fit perfectly into any contemporary living space. Nevertheless, the Helios Lamp also embraces ancient myths since it is named after the Greek personification of the sun.
Made out of two pieces of flat plywood that mirror each other, the Helios Lamp features a matte glass ellipsoid between them for an artistic feel. Designed for the Becker 2011 contest, the Helios Lamp will surely win some sort of praise.
