Deaf mother hears for the first time with cutting edge hearing implant technology. Amy age 26 hears her six year old son's voice for the first time ever, this incredible moment was full of mixed positive emotions, this was an extremely overwhelming experience for Amy considering she had never heard anything in her whole life.
The entire family was filled with emotion as their loved one hears for the first time, I can't imagine the excitement and the incredible sense of joy that they must have all felt for this lovely young lady.
Science and technology has come so far and continues to advance at alarming rates, it is such an amazing accomplishment both for the hearing impaired and scientific researchers. Knowing how far we have come in the past 10 years gives me a great sense of hope for all of the disabilities and sicknesses people deal with globally.
