Hayleigh's Cherished Charms is a 10-Year Old Entrepreneur's Innovati

10-year old jewelry artisan Hayleigh Scott beat the odds when she miraculously survived a life-threatening birth defect. This left her hearing impaired and thus started the road to creating hearing aid bling under the name Haleigh's Cherished Charms.

When Hayleigh started school she noticed the hearing impaired kids in her special school hiding their hearing aids behind their hair. She was only 5 at the time and thought differently. She wanted her hearing aids to 'shine' and to be proud of them. So she and her sisters started drawing jewelry and creating hearing aid bling.

Since then Hayleigh's parents have helped her grow her hearing aid bling into a fledgling business making affordable charms to decorate hearing aids for young or old. Just recently, Hayleigh was granted a provisional patent for the special findings needed to decorate hearing aids. All the jewelry is handmade by Hayleigh and her sisters.
