Modular Portable Cookers

The Halo Pod Ensures the Health-Conscious Always Have Healthy Meals

The Halo Pod is a modular, portable cooking system that ensures people can always eat a healthy meal even when on the go. It's hard to be on the ball all the time, especially when it comes to eating right. The Halo Pod provides one solution that makes excuses harder to come by.

Designed by Kristina Vuletic for the Electrolux Design Lab 2011, the Halo Pod is comprised of three separate pods. Each pod cooks a different food group, either vegetables, meat or carbohydrates. It is equipped with wireless induction technology, which allows the Halo Pod to cook food in odd places like a cubicle or even a car. It is made out of heat-resistant Polyeretherethreketone (PEEK) plastic.
