Before & After Greasy Hair Photos

Hairwash Project

The Internet never seizes to amaze me. The latest quirky idea that grabbed my attention is a fun project called Hairwash that shows pictures of people before and after getting their hair washed.

The idea sounds stupid but it somehow captivated me and I couldn't stop looking at the numerous submissions. Partly because it made me appreciate how we all come in different shapes, colors, sizes and hair styles, and partly because it provided me with a voyeuristic glimpse into the lives of strangers.

In order to participate, you only need to send a photograph before and after washing your head (dry hair left, wet right) with your name, occupation and city of residence. The only directions are to stand straight and look directly into the camera without smiling.

And even if you do not have hair, the project leaders assure you that you can still participate in the project.
