The Gue(ho)st House by Berdaguer & Péjus Shows Off Holiday Spirit

The Gue(ho)st House by Berdaguer & Péjus is a spooky structure created to resemble something out of a horror film. Inspired by popular ghost imagery, the abode features a haunting facade that gives life to its traditional structure.

Keeping in touch with the Halloween holiday spirit, the scare-inducing home has a history as a school, prison and funeral home, adding to its mysterious allure. Located in the east of France, the Gue(ho)st House by Berdaguer & Péjus is now an art gallery and visitor center.

With a polystyrene-coated facade, the cartoon-like architecture piece exudes both a sense of fun and fear for its visitors. Merging A Guest and A Host, the home's architects came up with its name and visual theme.
