Unmemorable Celebrity Ads

The Glue-It Sticky Notes Campaign Focuses on Forgettable Pop Culture

Many actors, musicians and more have either been one hit wonders or outshone by their costars and teammates; the Glue-It Sticky Notes ad campaign focuses on these unmemborable celebrities. It focuses on famous portraits from the television show 'Bay Watch,' music group The Jackson Five and even an iconic astronaut image. It leaves the true star untouched while covering the faces of the others to indicate who they are.

The Glue-It Sticky Notes ad campaign was conceived and executed by Maruri Grey, an ad agency based in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was creative directed by Pipo Morano, Alejandro Peré and Luis Campoverde. The tweaked images were shot by photographer Mauricio Candela with production by The Blur Office.
