Sustainable Garbage-Made Tees

Girlfriend Collective Unveiled New Tees Made from Recycled Materials

Sustainable clothing brand Girlfriend Collective recently came out with a range of tees, called the Cupro Collection, which are completely made from recycled cotton waste.

By using cotton waste to produce its apparel, the brand is able to save costs and resources, saving a reported "682 gallons of water" for each shirt that it makes. In order to further contribute to water conservation efforts, the brand also donates 10% of its sale profits to Charity Water, an organization that helps to bring clean drinking water to those in need.

The brand's dedication to transparency has helped it to grow over the years, as consumers are able to find out where every material used was sourced from, to ensure they're making fashion choices that align with their morals.
