The Geometric Food Art Keeps Food in Perfect Shape

The artist Sakir Gökçebag has managed to create beautiful Geometric Food Art using everyday fruits and veggies.

Fruits and vegetables naturally have fairly organic shapes that are not perfectly symmetrical or straight by any means. The way Gökçebag manages to manipulate these foods and arrange them into perfectly controlled shapes gives his artwork a surreal feel. They say it is impossible to fit a circle into a square, but somehow this artist accomplishes the impossible by forming perfect squares that have 90 degree angles out of round fruits like apples and watermelons. He also arranges smaller foods such as green beans into intricately patterned designs.
