Times Square recently hosted a 20-foot long inflatable colon, complete with diseased insides. The Prevent Cancer Foundation and pharmaceutical giant Sanofi-Aventis co-sponsored the event as part of a colorectal cancer awareness campaign that will be touring the US.
Canada has a similar project created by Publi-Air. Its 40’ giant colon tunnel for the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada will be traveling across Canada to raise awareness of this highly preventable disease.
