Family Themed Seasonal Ads

GAP Holiday 2008 Campaign

While everyone is looking for Black Friday ads to prepare for the Black Friday 2008 shopping madness that is about to come, The Gap keeps things in the family with Jennifer Hudson and a family-themed set of ads in their Holiday 2008 Gap ad campaign.

The ad campaign features model Lily Donaldson with her brother Jesse, actress Milla Jovovich with her daughter Ever, Angela Lindvall with her two sons, sisters Missy and Frankie Rayder, Erin Wasson, and sisters Nina and Chiara Clemente.

Although the Jennifer Hudson ad was shot back in July, The Gap made sure to double check with her after the recent tragedy in her private life.

"The minute we heard about the tragedy, we actually contacted her management team to ask if she wanted to participate or if she wanted us to pull her out of it," explained Olivia Doyne, director of engagement marketing and public relations for Gap. "They checked in with her and said that she still wanted to participate. It was definitely our first thought."
