Poto Leifi is a soldier/artist currently serving in Afghanistan who devotes his free time to crafting a vintage poster series, 'Freedom's On Me,' for fallen service men and women. Leifi initially worked as a graphic artist in Southern California but dreamed of joining the military after the 9/11 attacks.
Initially Leifi was told by coworkers that at 34, he was too old to join the military. Five years later, Leifi Learned that at 39, he could still join and promptly enlisted. 'Freedom's On Me' was born out of Leifi's desire to give the families of fallen soldiers something more than a tombstone to remember their loss by.
So far, Leifi has completed 10 posters in the 'Freedom's On Me' series. Leifi does the posters after hours and completely free of charge. Reactions to the posters has been positive, with Leifi's higher-ups fully supporting his hobby and families and friends clamoring for extra prints.
