Fluid Perfume Branding

These Fragrance Bottles Are Fluid Through Their Branding

The critically-acclaimed French designer Philippe Starck will be debuting a collection of fragrance bottles.

Known for using his skills to create an eclectic mix of products, the designer will offer three new perfumes which will be sold at Neiman Marcus retailers. There will be three, square shaped fragrance bottles in the collection that are connected not through the design but through their labeling. The perfumes each have a different colored and shaped design that tapers off at the end to start in the next bottle, making them look connected when they are all placed together.

The strategic placing of this perfume branding encourages consumers to buy more than one bottle at once, by making it appear as though each bottle comes as part of a collection.
