These Neat Portraits are All Done on Old Film Canisters

These impressive black and white portraits by artist David Emmitt Adams were all done on old discarded film canisters. This awesome art project introduces an interesting new way to recycle.

This intriguing canister series is called '36 Exposures.' Each striking portrait was done on a 35mm film canister. He got the canisters from his photography students (since Adams is also a teacher.) All of these neat recycled material portraits are of his old students.

These stunning film canister creations all have the look of really old photographs despite being brand new, which is interesting. Adams created a special mahogany box to store these creative captures in. 36 Exposures is an extremely original series that holds the viewers attention. This innovative photography idea presents observers with a fascinating new way to recycle while creating beautiful art.
