Envisions and Imat-Uve Recycled Textiles for the Fibers Unsorted Series

Fibers Unsorted is a series of fabrics made by design studio Envisions in collaboration with the engineering company Imat-Uve. The two companies partnered up to make recycled textile from used clothes that are typically unfit for other recycling programs and end up in landfills.

Instead of creating clothing textile waste, the companies created Fibers Unsorted, a technical fabric made from mixed fiber clothing. The unrecyclable clothing is processed into a durable and high-quality product that can be used in the automotive industry, among other constructions requiring durable fabrics.

Envisions and Imat-Uve aimed to reduce the fashion industry's waste by transforming the products into new and valuable forms, giving them an extended life cycle. The Fibers Unsorted project showcases how industries can work together towards a more sustainable future.
