Humanalistic Food Art

French Artist Felipe Barbosa Gives Food a New Life

French artist Felipe Barbosa is an eccentric photographer with the most unusual ideas for his photos. Together with fellow artist Rafael Medeiros, he constructed an outlandish photo series titled 'Taste Shapes According To Nature.'

This series features a range of fruits and vegetables being used as they normally wouldn't be as he gives them characteristics of human body parts. These everyday foods are captured with bright color and showcased lavishly. Though Felipe Barbosa has never really been clear on the meaning of these photos, I like to think it's more fun figuring that out on your own.

This quirky and fun filled series is sure to make you smile or turn your nose up in confusion. You may even find yourself a little hungry.
