DIY Cement Block Benches

This DIY Bench is an Easy Way to Add Extra Outdoor Seating to a Backyard

This DIY tutorial shows you how to add extra outdoor seating to your backyard by making your own cement block bench. While making an entire bench may sound like an overwhelming task, this tutorial is surprisingly simple to follow.

To make the cement block bench you will need 12 cinderblocks, four pieces of lumber, concrete adhesive and bench cushions. Begin by assembling six cinderblocks on each side. Then feed your wood through the cinderblocks from one side to the other. Once you have figured out the dimensions for your bench, remove the wood and secure the cinderblocks with the concrete adhesive. After the adhesive has dried, feed the wood back through the cinderblocks and cover the bench with cushions. For an added touch of color, you can paint the cinderblocks in a vibrant and eye-catching hue.

This easy DIY tutorial provides a simple way of adding a bit of extra outdoor setting to your backyard or patio.
