Leica and Disney Launch New Limited-Edition Camera

Premium German camera manufacturer Leica has released a new special exclusive anniversary-celebrating camera of its Leica Q2 model to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary. Disney's 100th anniversary consists of revolutionary animated filmmaking, and in respect, Leica releases this limited-edition dubbed '100 Years of Wonder.'

The camera's design resembles a storyboard drawing sheet made by Walt Disney Studios' animator Don Towsley in 1937. The camera contains Mickey Mouse print coverings on its top plate. There are notes beside Mickey Mouse's drawing that describe the action and movement that the character is doing. Regarding technical specs, it is a digital 35 mm compact camera with a fixed focal length and a Leica Summilux 28 f/1.7 ASPH. Lens. There are only 500 units made of the special edition Leica Q2 Disney '100 Years of Wonder' camera. The camera will be available for $6.981 on April 2023.
