Blooming Pendant Lights

The Eclipse Lamp by Catherine Werdel is an Ingenius Dimmer

The Eclipse lamp by Catherine Werdel provides an ingenious way of dimming your lights. Formed by two glass cylinders, wood slats and a metal frame, the Eclipse lamp controls it's illumination by moving the cylinder up and down the wood slats.

The closer the slats are together (or the higher up the cylinder) the dimmer the light, opening up the slats allows light to bloom. The Eclipse lamp by Catherine Werdel was first shown in Satellite Milan 2010 in conjunction with pieces from six other designer all belonging to Fresh from the mint.
