'EasyCard,' Taipei's contactless subway payment card company, has unveiled a new form of its card, this time inspired by 'Sailor Moon.' Sailor Moon is a popular anime series that follows a set of girls with magical powers. The main character, Sailor Moon, holds the 'Moon Stick,' which is her iconic magical wand. Now, metro riders in Taipei can carry their own Moon Stick equipped with EasyCard functionality.
The EasyCard Moon Stick looks identical to a smaller version of the anime character's wand. It features a pink base with a gold emblem at the top accompanied by a golden moon, three colored gems, and a large crystal on top. The full wand only measures 18cm in length, meaning it can be carried in purses or bags. On top of this, the crystal on top of the wand will light up when payments are processed, so owners can know when their payments were successful.
