'Vibes' Packaging Encourages The User to Express Their Individuality

Vibes' creative earphone packaging is both distinctive and slightly eerie.

Greek graphic designer Adamantia Chatzivasileiou chose celebrities who are known for having a distinct style to adorn the packaging she has designed. The artist chose Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Mick Jagger, Ozzy Osbourne and Iggy Pop -- ensuring that a variety of musical genres were represented in these decisions. Pictures of these artists' faces take over the back of the packaging and while the earphones sit behind them, the ear tips protrude from where the icon's eyes would normally be. The uncanny "eyes" coupled with graphic accents that cover the black and white photos make this earphone packaging quite distinctive.

By taking eccentric musical icons and pushing that eccentricity to its limits, this design concept represents the product while simultaneously pushing boundaries.
