If you thought cars couldn't get any faster, Volkswagon's chairman Martin Winterkorn recently announced that the famous German company plans to introduce a DSG gearbox into all its car models by the year 2020. The DSG gearbox will allow Volkswagon drivers the capability to switch between ten different gears and drive at astronomically fast speeds.
The innovative Volkswagon DSG gearbox is unlike any gearbox available on the market to date. Rather than the conventional 5 speed gearshifts, the DSG gearbox offers drivers the ability to alternate between 10 -- yes 10! -- different gear speeds. The DSG gearbox hopes to allow drivers to drive faster, save on fuel economy and better handle road conditions.
