Folake Oguntebi is bringing drybars to women with natural hair via her GoodHair Salon. Partnering with celebrity stylists Angela Stevens and Kim Kimble, Oguntebi set up a "pop-up chair" in New York City, where women with natural hair can come for consultation, styling and advice for care and maintenance, all in under two hours. GoodHair plans to create a permanent salon in 2016.
The goal behind the venture is not only to develop drybars for natural hair, but to encourage the natural hair movement by showing busy professional women how to quickly and cost-effectively style their hair themselves.
