The Creator of This Product Jokes That it Will Deflect Flying Droids

Conspiracy theorists and the generally paranoid and recluse would probably wish that this Drone Detection Cookie Dough were a real thing. This quirky concept has been rendered as a purely sculptural knickknack, unfortunately without the capacity to be sliced, baked and eaten for protection.

Bruce Sterling dreamed up this oddball object along with a greater collection of unusual trinkets. Describing this particular inedible dessert, the designer suggests that "you eat it and it projects a magical biosphere – deflecting drones via spider web technology and quartz crystals." It all reads as very ridiculous, but the idea is certainly engaging. Imagine being able to keep flying robots at bay by simple devouring a batch of chocolate chip cookies? Mouthwatering and magical.
