Dr. Woo is a tattoo artist based in Hollywood, California for Shamrock Tattoo.
Incredibly talented and popular, Dr. Woo has made quite a name for himself as a tattoo artist who uses inks and the human canvas in order to make these magnificent creations. A "fan of what he calls the black and gray fine line," Woo tends to use very little color and instead "focuses on building texture." His gorgeous line works can sometimes make for very psychedelic tattoos that have an almost optical illusion effect. Even when he designs more traditional tattoos like his mermaid, his line work and texture gives it an incredible dream like quality.
Looking at some of his work, it's easy to see how Dr. Woo developed such a devoted and passionate following in the tattoo community.
