Clothing-Constructed Billboards

The Done in One LG Washing Machine Boasts a Creative Ad Campaign

When it comes to washing machines, it appears size really does matter. Gone are the days of the 8 kg standard washer; now it’s 10 kg and more recently the 15 kg.

Just how much washing can you do with a 15 kg machine? Ad agency GPY&R Sydney decided to find out by making a 12 x 3 m billboard out of all the clothes the LG 15 kg washer could do in one wash.

An incredible 71 items were fed into the machine including five bed sheets, 12 bath towels, five tablecloths, eight shirts, nine t-shirts, 10 pillow cases, nine pairs of underwear, six washcloths and seven handkerchiefs. Then they were stitched together to make the ‘Done in One’ billboard.

The result is pretty impressive and if it can do all that in one go, it might just be able to handle anyone's dirty laundry.
