The 'Dolphin Speaker' Allows for Communicating With the Marine Animal

Swimming with the dolphins is one thing, but the 'Dolphin Speaker' is making talking with the marine animal closer to reality than ever before.

Humans and the gentle sea creature have a unique bond and marine researchers have been attempting to understand their communication patterns for years. This new amplification device has gotten mighty close to this goal as it is able to mimic many of the sounds these creatures make when interacting with each other

Created by Fusion Inc. and Yuka Mishima, a student at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, the device can imitate both the low-frequency sounds made by the animal and the high-frequency ones that are inaudible by humans.

Researchers plan to use to the device to see how dolphins react to these sounds to better understand how the creatures communicate and what it is they are telling each other.
