Customized Disney Valentines

An illustrator Turned a Couple into Their Favorite Characters

When Bryan Fuller wanted to create a personalized Disney valentine for his girlfriend, he commissioned Ringling College of Art & Design graduate Dylan Bonner for the job.

Since he and his girlfriend Manini are such avid Disney fans, Fuller wanted to "Disney-fi" themselves into iconic Disney characters, ranging from Jasmine and Aladdin to Eric and Ariel. Flynn explains, "I want our relationship to be as epic and timeless as the animations we grew up on."

Bonner created the illustrations from a set of photos Flynn sent him. Each recreation has the couple-as-Disney-characters in famous scenes from each film (A whole new world, anybody?). Bonner's finished work is incredibly high quality, paying meticulous attention to detail.
