Eco Vanishing Packaging

The Disappearing Package Celebrates Clever No Waste Product Packages

When you think about how much product packaging goes into landfills, it's nice to know there are companies out there with a disappearing package instead.

It's a phenomenal concept. Instead of making recyclable or other environmentally friendly packaging, why not make packaging that doesn't need to be thrown away? The 'Disappearing Package' is a website created by Aaron Mickelson that celebrates unique packaging that leaves no waste. The most impressive examples range from simple like a set of garbage bags that are packaged in one of the bags, to more complex solutions like soap packaging that will dissolve in the shower under normal running water. Other great examples include plastic kitchen wear with water soluble ink or Tide detergent pods that are tossed into the wash completely.

One thing is for sure, none of these unique packaging designs will find their way to a landfill while the product is still in use.
