Tokyo Midtown’s garden space has been infused with an immersive installation by the name of 'Digital Vegetables,' which features a gorgeous symphony of light and sound that's triggered by individuals interacting with the plants.
The noises and sounds heard were intricately crafted to reflect the individual plant that's being touched, creating an emotional connection between the human and the vegetation. For example, touching a tomato will prompt the sound of a violin, while touching a carrot will trigger the sound of a trumpet.
Each visitor is invited to engage with the natural matter in a manner that's both immersive and entertaining. The installation serves as a means of connecting people with nature and was created in partnership with the Digital Touch festival.
