This Modern Desk Model Features a Hidden Bed Compartment for Naps

Working long hours, overtime and weekends even calls for taking breaks and this desk known as the 1.6 S.M. of Life design by Studio NL lets you do just that with a hidden cot compartment. This allows workers to enjoy a snooze in a comfortable hidden bed located directly under the desk table.

Designer Athanasia Leivaditou put together the 1.6 S.M. of Life desk and named it after its intended dimensions of 2 x 0.8 x 0.8 meters. The desk comes in a thin rectangular design with a table top ledge that can be extended for more work space. However underneath panelled portion can be converted into a sleeping area complete with a mattress, pillow and extra storage space. The space is designed to fit snuggly a full person by giving hem a relaxing place to unwind.
