Puma Footwear Buffet

Just for fun, and to build on last week's feature on Nike's design-your-own sports gear, I decided to take a look at initiatives by the competition. I took a look to see what Puma was doing in this department, and low and behold, it turns out Puma has taken it one step further.

The website is fun and very interactive, allowing site goers to customize their ideal 'meal,' or shoe. To do this, customers can raid a buffet of leathers and trimmings they'd like to have on their footwear. The shoes I have designer are quite amazing, and in 5-7 weeks, they can be shipped right to my door.

In some of the more major cities around the world, you can go in store and order them in person.
