This death chart put together by The Economist clearly outlines the likelihood of someone dying via an asteroid.
Among other rare death causes are beestings, fireworks and lightening. According to the chart it is more likely to be killed by a lightning strike than by a dog attack; this is a little of a comforting thought, especially considering all the humans who train dogs into killing machines.
The most common way to die according to the chart is heart disease. This is not a big shocker as it is common knowledge for a lot of people.
What is so astonishing about this death chart is that an asteroid could be responsible for wiping out the whole of humanity and yet we mock it. We are defiant towards the universe with this hilarious chart.
