Just when you thought there was a designer version of every product possible, Daneson toothpicks arises. The company is taking on micro trends literally with their luxury toothpicks. In hopes of starting a new fine-dining trend, they are creating artisanal toothpicks.
Unfortunately, if you are thinking this could be the one designer thing you can probably afford, think again; the price of one small pack of toothpicks can range from $20 to $40.
The company creates small batches of toothpicks that come in flavors like salted birch, single malt, lemon and mint that are made from the finest quality Northern White Birch wood and "prepared according to exacting recipes for dignified individuals." Daneson also compares its toothpicks to fine wine, as each batch is unique and changes over time.
