SteelSeries has announced that the Apex Pro customizable mechanical gaming keyboard is newly available, with a 'TenKeyLess' version coming in the summer. The new model was announced at Computex 2019 and can be purchased at Best Buy or on the SteelSeries website for a $199.99 USD price point.
The customizable mechanical gaming keyboard has new OmniPoint adjustable switches, which implement magnetic sensors to allow users to select the sensitivity of their keys. The SteelSeries Engine is able to automatically change key sensitivity when gaming versus other tasks. Additionally, the magnetic sensors provide a faster response time than conventional switches, this makes the Apex Pro the fastest and most responsive keyboard on the market. Also featured on the Apex Pro is a clickable metal roller, as well as a media key so users can easily adjust audio output.
